Our lawyers assist clients in all aspects of restructurings throughout the United States.  We work closely with clients in financial distress to determine the best course of action which can include negotiating refinancing and forbearance agreements with lenders, sales of all or a portion of the business, out of court restructurings or a chapter 11 filing.  We also represent lenders, committees of creditors (both official and ad-hoc), individual creditors, counter parties to contracts, equipment lessors, landlords and purchasers.  Finally and importantly, our group has a wealth of experience representing the interests of sexual abuse survivors in the many bankruptcy cases that are being filed by entities such as the Boy Scouts of America and religious institutions.
